The Beam

This was/is really a song. The chorus popped into my head, and the lines basically were written straight through. I then fiddled with the whole thing a bit, and the result is thus.

Lock-picker knuckle-cracker you know we
Long dead lock-smith who can't see
Hey!
Hey!
We can combat small green peas
Hide the cans beneath the trees
Hey!
Hey!

You can call it stupid - buuuut
You can't tell what it might mean
Lest you first remove the beam
Heeeeeyyyyyyy!

Tin foil buckle-maker won't you please
Tilt the signet ten degrees
Hey!
Hey!
It may not make sense to the
Dollars and cents it has to be
Hey!
Hey!

You may think it's stupid - buuuut
You can't tell what it might mean
Lest you first remove the beam
Heeeeeyyyyyyy!

Puppy dog sweater found at the scene
All the prints have been wiped clean
Hey!
Hey!
Find the ones up in the lead
They've all got what you don't need
Hey!
Hey!

Yes it does sound stupid - buuuut
You can't tell what it might mean
Lest you first remove the beam
Heeeeeyyyyyyy!
Heeeeeyyyyyyy!
Heeeeeyyyyyyy!
Hey!
