A Hamster's Desire

There was a little hamster,
Who only liked to eat,
Such vile disgusting fare,
As pickled piggy's feet.

The pet store owner sold him,
But did not in his haste
Inform the folks he sold to
About the hamster's taste.

They only fed him pellets,
They'd purchased at the store.
So for a while he tried to live
Without his normal gore.

But through the months denied it,
Desire o'er his mind crept.
And he escaped his cage one night,
While those who'd bought him slept.

He searched but found no pigs feet,
Around on which to dine,
But soon discovered human toes,
And fingers did just fine.
